About Me

My interest in this field developed in part out of my own history with various personal challenges, which served as a catalyst for healing, change, and growth in my life. I find this work to be deeply meaningful and inspiring, and enjoy the unique relationships I cultivate with each client.

I look forward to supporting your process towards growth and healing.

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and have worked in the field of social services for over ten years. My Masters degree is in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies, with a concentration in Expressive Arts Therapy. My Undergraduate degrees are in Psychology and Gender Studies with an emphasis on social justice issues.

My work as a therapist is deeply informed by my meditation practice and ongoing inquiry into the nature of existence. Yoga and meditation have been a part of my life for over 15 years.

Previous areas of involvement have included marketing, natural health, yoga, research, education, and program development in the areas of domestic violence, LGBTQQI communities and other underserved and marginalized populations.
