My interest in being a therapist grew in part out of my own history with various personal challenges, which served as a catalyst for healing, change, and growth in my life. I find this work to be deeply meaningful and inspiring, and enjoy the unique relationships I cultivate with each client. I look forward to supporting your process towards growth and healing!

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (CA) and Mental Health Counselor (WA). I have worked in the field of social services for over fifteen years. My Masters degree is in Counseling Psychology and Expressive Arts Therapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies, an institution that integrates Body, Mind and Spirit approaches. My Undergraduate degrees are in Psychology and Gender Studies emphasizing social justice.

My work as a therapist is deeply informed by my meditation practice and ongoing inquiry into the nature of being. Yoga and meditation have been a part of my life since my teens.

Previous areas of involvement have included marketing, natural health, yoga, research, education, and program development in the areas of domestic violence, LGBTQQI communities and other underserved and marginalized populations.
